The Allacrost Project has two IRC channels available on the Freenode IRC Network] (irc.freenode.net). The first channel, #allacrost is our public channel where all are welcome to visit. The second channel #allacrost-dev is a private IRC channel that is available only for staff and active contributors. Although the same IRC commands apply in both channels, we handle the administration of the two in slightly different manners.

- All administrators have operator (OP) status
- All other staff members and contributors have voice status
- All others have no-op, no-voice status
